Chocolate nemesis is one of the most famous puddings from the River Cafe and used to be notoriously difficult to make. Then Ruth Rogers and Rose Gray published River Cafe Easy which simplified some of the recipes.
I was still a bit worried before making it and watched this video which was really helpful. I then followed the instructions exactly and it worked. But I think it’s best made the day before and then chilled in the fridge overnight to ‘set’ it. We ate it for a celebration with some creme fraiche and it was excellent. A little goes along way though so wait until you have lots of people to share it with before you make it.
