Fig and goats cheese salad

At Orford Country Market, I bought a solitary, last fig which had been grown locally and made a fig and goats cheese salad. It’s a mixture of salad leaves from Thorpeness, which I bought at the Aldeburgh Food Festival, the fig, some goat’s cheese, dressed in olive oil with a little basil. Not really a recipe. More an assembly of beautiful local ingredients.
